Hood with dot edge
När jag vävde mina prickiga tyger fick jag en idé och vävde ett par prov på band – som skulle kunna bli prickiga kanter på en hätta. Nu har jag gjort en hätta och sytt på ett band. En smalare variant skulle man kunna väva direkt på hättan.
Detta är bara en idé om hur det skulle kunna ha gjorts. Hättan ska få knappar – någon gång!
When weaving my dotted fabrics I got an idea and made some samples of ribbons for a hood with dots on the edge. Now I have sewn a hood and attatched a woven ribbon with dots. With a smaller ribbon you can weave it directly on the hood.
This is just an idea how it could have been done. There will be buttons on the hood – some time.
With a narrow ribbon with small dots it is possible in the same way as you weave a ribbon without dots directly on the hood. It is possible to weave round curved hems
How would one weave it directly to the hood, given that you have the dots going around the curved hem? Can one weave dots in a curve such that it would fit the hem.
